When founded its main purpose was to welcome and entertain Kerry teams and their supporters on the occasion of major football matches in Croke Park. Our Association has developed greatly over the years. It now brings together Kerry people and their friends by means of organised meetings, lectures, outings, and social functions.

Celebration is indigenous to Kerry and its people, and the Association aims to celebrate the diversity, individuality, creativity and imagination that are Kerry.

The Kerry Association representing Kerry people of every interest and background, is modern in its approach but nonetheless reflective of the deep attachment of Kerry people to their own identity, heritage and ideals.

Our Association provides a focus point for Kerry people in Dublin to enjoy themselves, to celebrate great occasions and support worthy causes. It uses every opportunity to promote and develop Kerry in all its enriching manifestations. Our Association is a source of guidance to young people and helps them to have closer links with their county, their Kerry friends in Dublin, and enables them to retain their own identity, culture, heritage, history and Kerry traditions. Contact with our Association ensures that all Kerry people in Dublin have opportunities to meet and to contribute in a unique way to their native county.

The Association’s objective is to develop the great sporting, literary and cultural heritage of Kerry and utilise the increasing opportunities provided by modern advancements in the business and technological sectors.

Worldwide, Kerry is a symbol of excellence whether in sport, culture or business affairs. We as Kerry people living in Dublin can create a vibrant, strong and resourceful Association by sharing common objectives for the future while continuing to project our rich heritage and culture.
